Disneyland - Day 1

Hello! Last week Charles and I drove to Disneyland. We arrived Friday afternoon, and just took it easy in Anaheim. We got some yummy pizza at a place we go to everytime we are in town, then walked to Disneyland so we could time how long it took. Haha, we like to plan ahead. After that we went to Trader Joe's to load up on snacks for the next day, then relaxed at our hotel and went to bed early (8:30!). The next morning we got up at the crack o' dawn and walked to the park. We were first in line at the gates as usual! That is our family tradition :). Haha.
After the gates opened an hour later (8 am) we had an amazing time riding Space Mountain, the Finding Nemo ride, Indiana Jones (twice!), the Haunted Mansion (twice!), Pirates of the Carribian (twice!) and many others. We had lunch at the Blue Bayou, which is the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Carribean ride. It was magical! Haha. We got a free dessert because I told them this was an "early" anniversary celebration. Super early. Haha. All in all we spent 14 hours in the park, and loved every second of it! :).
