House hunt of death

So Charles and I started a hunt for a home a few weeks ago. It has been going alright; there have been a few ups and a lot of downs, haha. So far we have made offers on 2 houses, the first one was SNAKED from us and the sellers of the second weren't willing to come down to our price level so we bailed. SO! Rough. We have seen what feels like a jillion homes and have really honed in on the style and age we prefer. Now we just have to find that again in our budget! Here are examples of funny stuff we have seen:

*A raccoon themed kitchen complete with a raccoon skin on the wall (why????)
*Lots of full apartments in basements. Weird.
*Tiny yards of doom
*20' or so ceilings in a basement.
*Santa-Fe style built in shelves and bunk bed in said basement.
*Bedrooms the size of my current closet....TINY
*Lots of astroturf-carpeted stairs
*Wood paneling!!!!! The horror!!!

And many more. When I think of those I will write them up for all you avid readers (Hello?.....anyone there?).

<-- Yes
<-- Yes
<-- Double Yes
<-- No....maybe?

Hahaha. The haunted mansion is my number 1 pick. Followed by the shanty-town shack as a close second. If number one is your favorite, move to France, and if number two is your fav, give up. Hahahaha.

Get the one with the raccoon themed kitchen! Haha. That is amazing!

You will find it! You could always come down to Spanish Fork!

Haha, Jodi, if we got that one it would only be fitting to not have a trash can and just throw our trash on the floor. Chevon, we are still considering good ol' moldy bathroom! :)

Hahahha! Oh Trish. This is hilarious. I felt the same way when we were searching for out house. You will find the perfect one for you. And if not a raccoon kitchen can't be that bad. :) Keep smiling!

Ah house hunting, the horrors. I took us a bazillion houses to find this one. And I hate the lack of yard, so naturally we're planning on repeating the process in a few years so my kids have somewhere to run around. Dreading it already. Good luck.
